A newly developed site first opened in 2006. The site is situated in the town of Glenrothes which itself has many leisure and shopping facilities. Glenrothes is a short drive from St Andrews, the home of golf. Also close by are the East Neuk fishing villages and the City of Dundee, home to Captains Scott's RRS Discovery. Located south over the Forth Bridges is Edinburgh, Scotlandís Capital City. Having recently opened the site boasts modern facilities which includes amenities for the disabled, there is also a small shop located in the reception area, and children's play area. Five minutes from the park, there is also a large leisure centre with swimming pool, tennis courts, gym, plus many more activities for all the family. Throughout the years, the site has continued to be awarded five stars for its excellent facilities. The site is nice and open, mainly laid out with grass pitches, and accepts all units. See weblink above for further information.

Freezing cold washrooms, no heating on in February, but at least the campsite was open. Thought it was expensive.

This is by far one of the cleanest campsites we have visited this year. The washroom facilities are very modern, clean and warm. We enjoyed our stay there however the kids were bored at first as there wasn't much for them to do on site. The 'games room' had one air hockey table. However the local leisure centre was walking distance away so that quickly made up for that. The only thing that let us down, which is of no fault of the owners, was that the nearby road seems to be used as the local drag strip in the evenings. We found it difficult to get to sleep until the early hours because of this. Overall the site is lovely, we had a great time (even though it rained) and the tent pitches are second to none.

I visited the caravn park just last summer and had a wonderfull two weeks their with my family. we recived the warmest welcome from the McAllister family who run the site together. i would strongly reccomend the site as it was everything and more we expected! we also enjoyed the near by facilities however the only diapointment was our visit to the small Java Lava cafe in criff as the cafe was very small and unpleasent inside but over all owr visit to fife was welcoming and warm.
